In the Late 70’s and well into the 80’s I was a member in a 12 piece show band where I played Trumpet and Rhythm Guitar. Playing songs by Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Tower of Power and many more.
Our fist paying gig was the Guard Theater in New London, where we played two shows to a packed house. From there we Played clubs like Shaboo, where we opened up for the Fabulous Rhinestones, Agora Ball Room, and Toads Place, where we opened for Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes.When the band split up, I put down the Trumpet and picked up the Acoustic Guitar.
In addition to my solo performances, at the end of 2020, I put together the The Mojo Rhodes Band! The band is comprised of six talanted musicians from six different popular bands to form what will soon be known as the premiere wedding and special events band in the North East.
